After a grueling day at ‘work’ yesterday I decided to unwind with an old fashion hot oil treatment of sorts. That’s probably not the right word to call it because what I ended up doing was shampooing my hair first then adding a little protein conditioner mixed with castor oil. Then I used my Huetiful Steamer for about 20 mins or so.
Hair results?- Strong, Soft, not oily!
Tip: this might be old news but I added a little castor oil to my shampoo yesterday, even though it is sulfate free I just wanted to see how it would feel with the oil, and it felt great actually. so try it!
1.) start out with dirty hair like mine!
2.) add some oil to your fav shampoo and hit the shower (I didn’t even section my hair but do what you do!)
3.) Shampoo hair thoroughly and exit shower
4.) mixed some castor oil with some cheap conditioner and applied it all over my head
5.) steamed my hair for 20 minutes
6.) hopped in the shower again (I hate doing that) and used the shower to create 5-7 braids I was not exactly washing the product out of my hair deliberately because I wanted to leave some of it in while I did my braids
7.) exit shower again and applied cantu shea butter leave in to the length of each braid, sealed my ends with some oil and let the sucka air dry overnight
8.) In the morning I undid each braid using a blow dryer to tension stretch slightly
9.) Result : big fluffy wash and go’esc hair
Have a wonderful Monday
