Why did your girl end up in the hospital last week? – so what had happened was, I went to my store early on Tuesday, met up with Joey and we went to another mall for a meeting and checking out a new potential space for another store (bit@h gotta keep working). Anyway we walked around had fun, I got home was fine until 9pm. I started feeling some crampy like pains every couple of minutes 3minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, it was all over the map. Now you know my ass aint got know idea about what a contraction should feel like or what to expect so I ignored them until the ish started to really hurt. Joey was calm and I did notice that at 11.30pm he still was fully dressed (he had a feeling). I called the doctor and he said the worse thing he could possibly say.’I think you need to go to the hospital’. …..Damn!
really kid!? its not time, what in the world!> so we packed up I had a hospital bag half packed already and took it just in case. They checked me out at the hospital- hooked me up to an IV (that contraption hurts like HELL) and yup they confirmed it, I was contracting but not dilated or effaced, or whatever it is that goes with contractions.
What causes that? I asked,….. answer – could be anything, we really dont know but it is very common! I stayed 2 nights they stopped the contractions and I am at home on bed rest now, trying to keep him in there till at least week 36 (next Friday)Â then he can come whenever he feels like it.
sheesh – pregnancy aint no joke! and bed rest sucks, but I will do anything for my little hiccupy man.
I havent done anything special just co wash and braid, as a matter of fact on the night of the contractions I decided to cowash just in case the doctor said something greasy like ‘go to the hospital’.
My hair is always in braids, honestly I just want to get though this and ignore my hair, so in order to not cause that much damage I have decided to cowash often and keep the braids in until my hair gets dry and I do it all over again.
I look cray!
