My cousin writes a blog called The Wellness Blueprint, which is a blog about nutrition, fitness and general wellness. On one of her posts in particular talked about staying connected in the gym…. I so needed that post. I went to the gym and literally daydreamed my way through a whole hour. I had no plan, no goal, no focus..and eventually no workout.
My cousin says
A common statement, that I hear from fitness novices, is that they like to “get in, an get out.” Â However, in this process, I’ve seen some of these individuals walk around the gym floor and just sit at a machine and go through the motions. Â No consideration to the muscle group that they are working on, all while guessing their way through a workout–never truly hitting the muscle group, or overworking the muscle because they don’t know what they did earlier in the week and are repeating it later in the week.Â
